10th anniversary - final

It’s Leadership Story Lab’s 10th Anniversary!

When Esther started Leadership Story Lab 10 years ago, she got a lot of blank stares whenever she said “I teach storytelling.” People would search for the closest thing they knew. “You mean, like writing children’s books?” Now, a decade later, almost all responses we hear are in the variety of, “oh, I just read an article on business storytelling!” It’s now seen as a key leadership tool across industries.

Leadership Story Lab has spent the last 10 years helping clients raise investment funds, increase recruiting conversion by 20%, and get promoted and hired. We have helped thousands of clients tell their stories with purpose and power and persuade their audiences into action.

To celebrate, we are focusing on giving back! With Covid, we launched a series of Story Labs, including with young adults at The Children's Inn at NIH, and a 7-day storytelling challenge where two winners, Sharon d’Amore and Kavita Lobo, had a chance to be coached by Esther.

We keep sharing stories! We recently launched a podcast with the Kellogg's Ward Center for Family Enterprises and graduated our first class of Leadership Story Lab Certified Story Facilitators so others can share the art and science of storytelling!

To continue with the spirit, we hosted a free webinar around storytelling for job search success and hope you enjoy these interviewing and networking tips, including A Storytelling Checklist for Job Interviews. We would love to help you tell your story.

“Esther has increased my confidence. She is excellent, and listens to your issues and challenges. She’s a quick study, very solution oriented, and provides tools for life when it comes to storytelling for business and/or personal conversations.”

- Sharon d’Amore, Educational Leadership Consultant, Educational Answers
